“Karunyam” charitable society was founded and registered and has been functioning since 15th August 2008, with its Head Quarters at Chavara, Kollam, Kerala, India.

Sympathy, Compassion and Charitable Services are beyond one’s duties and obligations.

Unparallel compassion and sympathy, and unrestricted and unconditional service to the miserable and suffering people in our locality is the main objective of this Charitable Society.

Founded on the 61st Independence day, this charitable society has been rendering silent but commendable Service to Palliate the misery of the suffering people, without any hue and cry or much trumpeting of the noble works.
However, as the number of the needy is increasing day by day we are compelled to increase the number of volunteers and social workers of our charitable society.

Any service minded person who is willing and is prepared to spend a part of this time to render this honorary job can become a member of Karunyam Charitable Society in accordance with the conditions laid down in the bye law.

By becoming a member of this society you can extend a helping hand to the ailing and the miserable fellow beings of our locality, and can have the satisfaction of having done, at least a few good things among our duties we have to accomplish in our life.

Though we have chosen the area bounded by Chavara Block as jurisdiction, our services may be extended to any deserving person or family regardless of boundary of limitations.
